Premature ejaculation – methods of treatment – Section B

Methods of treating the problem of premature ejaculation which are effective and recommended by doctors and sexologists. A second article in a series of two.

This is a continuation of the article “Premature ejaculation – methods of treatment – section A”. This article presents five additional methods that will help you put an end to premature ejaculation.
In the previous article we spoke about methods of stopping and continuing, choking etc.

The following are five additional methods recommended by doctors and sexologists of treating the problem of premature ejaculation:
An exercise for strengthening the Pelvis Floor muscle
Try to recall the action you do when you attempt to stop the flow of urine while you are urinating. This contracting movement is an action which strengthens the Pelvic Floor muscle. Now, at this very moment, while you are reading this article, try to do it. Practicing this method helps in several aspects: It strengthens the erection, prolongs the duration of sexual intercourse and also helps with the prevention of prostate cancer. The great advantage of this method, beside the fact that it both helps strengthen the erection and prevent prostate cancer, is that it can be applied almost everywhere. You just sit on the chair at your house/office and contract. It can be practiced as a contraction and then a release done several times with 45 second interludes between each set. It can also be done with longer contraction and a 45 second break between each contraction. Of course one can do both exercises – in this case the more the better.

Wear a condom
It decreases the pleasure since it reduces the sensation (it acts as a buffer between the vagina and the male sexual organ). Yet it does have a plus side: It considerably lengthens the duration of the penetration. If you ask me, long term sex with a condom is always better than short term sex without a condom.

Study the culture of the Tantra and the Kama Sutra
The Indian culture, which has recently become very trendy, offers a variety of ancient methods of controlling ejaculation and the act of sex altogether. You’ll be quite surprised when you see how third world countries have preceded the western world in some fields.

Medications for stronger erections and premature ejaculation
Don’t be afraid to try medications. There are currently some natural based herbal medications, with no need for a prescription, and no side effects which help desensitize the sexual organ.
These medications promise control over the ejaculation, and unlike chemical medications, they present no risk.

Treatment by a sexologist
In case the advice so far has not helped you, you are probably very disappointed and believe that you have a defect with which you are stuck forever. This is again the place to remind you that premature ejaculation is the most easily treated sexual dysfunction. A sexologist will provide guidance that will most certainly help you.
